I'm a little behind on posting and playing catch up tonight. It has been decided that next year, I am going to stick to a Project 52. 365 days of pictures is overwhelming and often exhausting. But I'm going to stick it out the rest of the year. Hell, I'm almost there!! And proud of myself because I am frankly surprised I stuck it out. And completely amazed at how this year sped past. I'm not ready for Christmas. I'm not ready for Thanksgiving! It's next week. I reluctantly bought my turkey earlier this week. So here goes. {316/365}: Birthday party with the fam. No. 36 for me. {317/365}: Daddy likes his naps. {318/365} My (little) muscle man. {319/365}: Her favorite movie these days is Home Alone. She loves this part from the movie. The bad part is she now says "Look what you did, you little jerk!" And our favorite, "I wouldn't let you sleep with me if you were growing on my ASS!" {320/365}: He's always up late finishing up homework. Price of being a football star, I guess. (Did I mention he made Principal's List?????) {321/365}: Still my little monkey. {322/365}: So many good ones to choose from this game as well.
Our last football game. We made it the Championship. Bad news, we fell through. We lost to the same team we had previously whooped only a few weeks prior. The good news? Jackson had his best game. Seven tackles. He was looking great, and despite the loss, he left happy and confident. Get em next year, Chiefs!

{309/365}: Too many good pictures to choose from on this day. This is the day we won the State Championship! This is the day our Cannons played their butts off (3 games) in the freezing cold and came out on top in the end! They were given these sweet rings instead of trophies. The boys were pretty excited. This is also the day our 2014 season came to an end. {310/365}: This picture needs no caption. {311/365}: Only one little girl lives here. {312/365}: I'm going to the store, Mommy. {313/365}: Poor kid. He has to eat dinners by himself most nights of the week, just before football practice. The rest of us can wait, but he has to have his calories before he practices. Football season is coming to a close. {314/365}: Birthday night out with friends. Gonna make a habit of taking more pictures with this guy. {315/365}: It was a long day. And he isn't a night owl. Although he wishes he was.
{295/365}: We went to dinner for Honey's birthday at Buffalo Wild Wings. Second year in a row. It's becoming a tradition. I think we like it because it's loud. And we have a loud family. (296/365): Monday night we went back for more wings. This time to Wing King. The boys like to play Mad Libs. (297/365): She got to pick out a prize during our impromptu girls' trip to the mall. (298/365): He just looks crazy big here. (299/365): Playing a little baseball in the den. Cameron's the fun big brother. {300/365}: Her daddy taught her how to play pat-a-cake. (301/365): We're going to the playoffs bay-beeeeeee! Shoulder bump!
{288/365}: Cuteness. Bella and her friend, Sean, at the baseball tournament for the Cannons. {289/365}: This is all she does. And she leaves a trail of babies, blankets, and chaos wherever she goes. {290/365}: Night out with my 3 Amigos. "Tacos and chips". {291/365}: Yes, this happened. {292/ 365 } : Told her she had to sit at the table and finish her food. She won. I eventually gave up. {293/365}: Do they come any cuter than this? So proud of this kid. Football season is wrapping up. It was well worth it. So glad we decided to let him do it. {294/ 365 } : Cameron with his friends, Blake, at his birthday sleepover.
{268/365}: Cannons double header at SCAA. Our rivals. We lost 5-6. I blame the bees. {269/365}: Cousin Rob brought baby Ollie over for dinner. He loved Cam. They usually do. Bella loved him. Josh had to remind her "He's a real person, Bella." {270/365} My view most nights. {271/365}: Date night. Josh & I went to see Amos Lee in concert. {272/365}: My view most mornings as I leave for work. {273 / 365 } : She loves her footy jammies. {274 / 365 } : After football, more football in the street. Jackson makes up his own plays.
A lot of pics from the phone this week. Just wasn't feeling like breaking out the camera very much these days. Been feeling a little sluggish and very lazy. {261/365}: If you can't beat em, join em. Adapting to Fall. There are some things I like about Fall. Including soup in the crockpot. {262/365}: This keeps her occupied these days. Josh's old phone. YouTube videos of Laurie Berkner and One Direction. And Dumb Ways to Die. {263/365}: They insist on crowding on the couch next to me. Sometimes it drives me insane. Most times, I think it's pretty sweet. P.S.: Not sure what Bella is doing here. {264/365}: I'm just getting my own drink. Geesh, Mom. {265/365}: The coffee pot actually makes coffee. Who knew. {266/365}: Friday Night Cannons practice. {267/365}: Jack helping out his buddy on the sidelines.
That's where he spent most of the game. Do I sound bitter? Let's just say I didn't take as many pictures. It didn't help that we got crushed. After the game he tells me, "I really need to work on getting around the block." Poor kid. I am so proud of his perseverance. I never imagined he would enjoy football this much. |

AuthorMy name is Kaci. I am a working mom of 3. Wife to Josh. Mom to Jackson, Cameron & Isabella. My life is dinner, homework, baseball, basketball, grocery lists, laundry, middle school, wine, video games, and schedules. I started this blog because I love taking pictures, and I needed a place to document our life. I wanted a place to write it all down, to remember little details so easily forgotten in the mad rush that is the life of a family of 5. Through my photos and words, I endeavor to capture our story.
